This is your counselling journey and I will adapt my approach to suit your unique needs and any goals that you have. Perhaps you need the space to talk through the circumstances that are causing you the most distress and want to explore this in depth, or maybe you want measurable goals and outcomes that you can work towards – you dictate the pace and course of the sessions and I will guide you through your unique journey.

My approach

After many hundreds of hours of client sessions, I have crafted and honed a unique therapeutic approach based upon person-centred and solution-focussed principles. This approach has supported my clients to not only deal with the issues causing the most concern for them, but to also thrive in other areas of their life.

My therapeutic approach allows for greater exploration into the issues that you are experiencing, to shine the light on the root cause and understand what needs are not being met. I also have extensive experience in implementing tools, techniques and strategies in sessions to help you overcome emotional difficulties and empower you to regulate your emotional state and mental wellbeing.

What to expect

I offer a free no-obligation initial consultation, which gives us the opportunity to meet and for me to find out more about what you would like to get out of counselling. Or maybe you are ready to jump right in and begin your journey of discovery and empowerment – either way, I will send you a counselling agreement which contains all the information you need on confidentiality, payment arrangements and other info.

I believe that counselling needs to cater for your unique needs, which is why I offer online or telephone counselling, on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. You decide what works best for you.
